Black Poet 2023 Retreat.
The Obsidian Foundation retreat provides Black poets from African, Caribbean, Afro-Latinx, and African-American heritage, who often face access barriers, with an opportunity to network with agents, publishers, and provide vast industry opportunities.
The open call for our 2023 retreat is now open, and we invite Black poets and poets of African descent to submit their application for a chance to be part of an incredible cohort of poets and tutors whose purpose is to curate a safe space for our community to thrive and harness the transformative power of language and words. Some of our tutors includes Malika Booker, Dante Micheaux, Victoria Adukwei Bulley and more.
